Maple Chicken Patties
Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
1 egg
4 tablespoons fresh herbs (I used a mix of parsley and chives)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, herbs, maple syrup, poultry seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Shape the mixture into 6-8 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
Serve the patties warm with your favorite sides or as part of a salad or grain bowl.
