Grandma’s Egg Bake
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can of crescent roll dough
8 large eggs
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend)
1 cup diced vegetables or cooked meat (e.g., bell peppers, spinach, cooked sausage, bacon, or ham)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Nonstick cooking spray
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F . Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, ensuring the seams are sealed.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in the shredded cheese and your choice of vegetables and/or cooked meat.
Pour the egg mixture over the crescent roll crust, spreading it out evenly.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden. Check for doneness by inserting a knife in the center—if it comes out clean, it's ready.
Let the egg bake cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
