Steak Pizzaiola Bites
Ingredients
1 lbs sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
Salt to taste
1 TBSP oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup green olives
2 TBSP capers
1/4 cup white wine
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
Fresh basil and grated parmesan to serve
1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
Directions
Season steak bites with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, and salt
Let sit for 10 mintes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet
Sear steak for one minute on each side until a brown crust forms but the middle stays tender
Remove steak from the pan and set aside
Turn heat down to medium and sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic for 5 minutes until softened
Deglaze with white wine
Add olives, capers, and crushed tomatoes
Simmer for ten minutes
Add steak back in and stir on low for 2-3 minutes
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice and garnish with fresh basil and Parm
