Everything but the Bagel Salmon Bites

Ingredients

  • 3 salmon filets (about 3 ounces each)

  • ½ cup of toasted sesame seeds

  • 1 cup of everything but the bagel seasoning

  • ¼ cup coconut aminos

  • 2 tablespoons of honey

  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of pepper

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

Directions

  1. Pat 3 salmon filets dry with paper towels.

  2. Cut the fillets into bite-size chunks (about 1-inch cubes).

  3. In a shallow bowl, combine ¼ cup of coconut aminos, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 2 tablespoons of honey, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir mixture.

  4. Add salmon chunks to the coconut amino mixture and let marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.

  5. In another shallow bowl, add ½ cup of sesame seeds or everything but the bagel seasoning (or use two bowls and do one of each).

  6. Remove salmon chunks one at a time from the marinade and roll in sesame seeds or everything but the bagel seasoning until it’s coated on all sides.

  7. Repeat for each cube of salmon.

  8. Place coated salmon bites into a pan on medium heat with 3 tablespoons of olive oil and fry on each side for about 2 minutes until fully cooked through.

  9. Remove from the pan and enjoy on salads, rice bowls, and more!
