Airfryer Crispy Artichokes

Ingredients 

  • 2 cans artichoke hearts

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsps fresh parsley

  • 2 tbsps fresh sage

  • 1 tbsp fresh chives

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 2 tbsps lemon juice

  • 1 tsp dijon


Directions

  1.  Drain artichoke hearts and pat dry with a kitchen towel or paper towel

  2.  Chop artichoke hearts in half. Add them to a mixing bowl with breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, finely chopped fresh sage, and finely chopped fresh parsley

  3.  Mix well

  4.  If air frying, add artichokes to greased air fryer basket, spray with cooking spray, and air fry at 400ºF for 10-14 minutes or until crisp

  5.  If baking, add artichokes to a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes at 400ºF or until crisp

  6.  To make herby aioli, combine mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, dijon, 1 tbsp finely chopped chives, 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley, and salt and pepper to taste
